Collage the (imaginary) Collaborations....

After the last post I did some more googling and still couldn't find any decent band/ fashion collaborations. I decided to veer away completely from punk rock and just choose a few bands I like and do some polyvore sets, thinking about if I was the designer for a collaboration with one of them.

The Fleetfoxes are one of my favourite bands and their style will never be considered memorable, infact some may say it is even unstylish but I think it is the way they wear their clothes not actually what they wear!

you may have seen the fleetfoxes tshirts advertised across the internet (all the t-shirts in this set) and I have to say I do really like the simplicity of them.

Another band I'm massively into, I am afraid after taking the fleet foxes style very litteraly and basically just using pieces practically identical to what the fleetfoxes actually wore I felt the need to be alot more abstract with my Coldplay set.

I found these photographs of Coldplay on polyvore and fell in love with them immediately and decided to base my set around the cosmic theme, however, I didn't want to loose Coldplay's style so I encorparated adidas into the set and the big trainers as these are commonly seen worn by the band members.

Last but by absolutely no means least it's my beloved beatles! As a devoted fan since the age of two I was surprised how difficult their style was to interpret. It seamed it was so individual not many stores had replicated it. Obviously the yellow submarine bag was a stroke of extreme luck and don't even ask about the rollerskates (they look good okay!!?)
