Amanda Palmer...

I have been so uninspired over the last few days, hense the major lack of posts, sorry bloggers, I have just been really down with school and stuff so I have just had no drive to get up and do things which is so un-me. I am used to just having the inspiration to do whatever I feel like but over the last few days that inspiration has just not been there.

So to make up for what has been long time, no see and so as not to post some rambling garbage that will interest nobody I have decided to post about the lovely Amanda Palmer who has been inspiring me for ages. I didn't just want to talk about her fantastically individual style but also about her fantastically individual music that I love so much. I meen not only did she write a song about my favourite football club she also managed to make it pretty damn good. I have been listening to it over and over on my iPod. I love that her voice is so deep and unique. It's original and new which is rare in todays society.

I love the way this photo's been edited. I think all of the photographs of Palmer really sum up how she wants to be percieved. For her it's not about being punk, goth, glamourous or even unique it's just about dressing and acting the way she feels and doing things because that's what she wants to do. That is the attitude I want to channel and I'm loosing it a little bit at the moment because of school pressure and things like that.

Here she is pictured with her band the Dresden Dolls, I love this photo too because all though the costume and set is very unique and excentric it doesn't look overthought.

I will have to do an outfit post or a drawing inspired by her maybe tomorrow or the day after. I promise to try and get back into daily posting because the posts seemed to be flowing quite nicely from one to another over the last few months of daily posting so I don't really want to loose that.

To be honest blogging should be an escape shouldn't it so I'll try and keep my worn out emotions for the real world and turn all that negative energy into some new and exciting blog posts!
